The New Hampshire Wildlife Coalition (NHWC) — a NH nonprofit dedicated to fostering human-wildlife coexistence — is seeking a part-time volunteer Executive Director to join our team.

Founded in 2016, NHWC is a 501(c)(3) organization with a strong track record of wildlife advocacy and education. Our members have substantial expertise in wildlife science, ecology, and forestry. We focus on the conservation of predator species (like bobcats, bears, lynx, coyotes, foxes and fishers) and their habitats and believe in ethical hunting practices rooted in the ethos of “Fair Chase.”

We have a highly credentialed steering committee with members like Chris Schadler, one of the foremost experts on the Eastern coyote, Meade Cadot, Ph.D., Ecologist Emeritus at New Hampshire’s Harris Center, Weldon Bosworth Ph.D., Ecologist and former environmental consultant, and Geoff Jones, professional forester and former Director of Land Management for Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests.

As we take on more legislative projects, convert our 800 supporters to contributing members, and expand our digital presence, we’re looking for a new leader to help carry our mission forward. The ideal candidate has experience with small non-profits, working with volunteers, effective communication skills, and community outreach. You need not have any formal conservation or environmental background.
