With its signature howl and proximity to humans, the Eastern coyote is the most persecuted carnivore in North America.

Guest speaker, Chris Schadler, a researcher and advocate for coyotes, will present on the population dynamics of coyotes, their past and present range, their behavior, habits, and group dynamics. Chris Schadler, M.S., Conservation Biology, will discuss coexistence strategies, whether you farm, hike or garden.

“Understanding the mind and ecology of the coyote can keep us one step ahead of problems”, according to Chris, who, with 40 years of wolf and coyote research, sheep farming, and teaching, will demonstrate that “knowledge is power” when it comes to living with coyotes.

A combination of personal stories and a good dose of humor, this is a presentation every wildlife lover will enjoy!
